English Angora Fiber
Cloud-soft fiber with a gentle halo. We blend Angora with alpaca or wool for yarn that is luxurious yet still practical to knit and wear.
Small-batch skeins and fiber blends spun from the animals on our Mississippi farm: English Angora rabbits, alpacas, and Gulf Coast Native heritage sheep.
Natural colors, thoughtful blends, and limited runs — when a batch is gone, it may not return.
Most of our yarn is spun in this quiet corner of the house – a vintage wheel, a well-worn rocking chair, and usually a bunny or two nearby. Every skein starts here, one treadle at a time, with time to think about the animals and the hands that will eventually work with the finished yarn.
It’s not a factory, it’s a favorite chair – and we like it that way.
Every skein in our Etsy shop starts with a real animal in our pastures or barn. We skirt, wash, and prepare the fiber in small batches, then spin it with softness, durability, and usability in mind.

Alpaca contributes warmth and drape to many of our blends. It’s wonderful in shawls, cowls, and pieces that sit close to the skin.
This heritage breed brings character and resilience. Their wool makes beautiful, hard-wearing yarn for sweaters, hats, and mittens.
We lean into the natural colors of our flock, but when time allows you’ll also find gentle hand-dyed colorways and textured batts for spinning.
Inventory changes with the seasons and the animals. Some skeins are truly one-of-a-kind. The best way to see what’s available right now is to browse our Etsy shop.
