Gulf Coast Native Sheep
A rare heritage breed of the American South, our Gulf Coast Natives are hardy and well-suited to Mississippi’s climate. Their wool spins into character-rich, durable yarn.
A small family fiber farm in Mississippi raising English Angora rabbits, alpacas, and Gulf Coast Native heritage sheep. Their fiber becomes the handspun yarns we sell on Etsy.
Handspun in small batches, with care for the animals and the land.
Puzzles Fiber Farm grew out of a love for gentle animals and the slow, satisfying work of turning raw fleece into beautiful yarn. We’re tucked away in Mississippi, where our rabbits, alpacas, and Gulf Coast Native sheep graze, nap, and grow the fiber we use in every skein.
We raise our animals on pasture with plenty of room to roam, fresh water, and hands-on care. Each fiber harvest is done thoughtfully on their schedule. The result is fiber that feels good in your hands and comes from animals that are genuinely well-loved.

Gentle and curious, our alpacas bring warmth and drape to many of our blends, adding a silky feel without extra weight.
Our English Angoras are selected for calm temperaments and luxurious fiber. Their soft, haloed wool is at the heart of many of our yarns.
